St. Genevieve School Students Visit Bishop Deshotel and Office of Seminarians Bearing Gifts

On the occasion of 2020 National Catholic Schools Week, the Lafayette Diocese chancery was blessed with special visitors from St. Genevieve Catholic School 4-H Club delivering delicious treats to Bishop Douglas Deshotel and Father Kevin Bordelon, the Director of the Lafayette Diocese Office of Seminarians!

Mrs. Denise Broussard, the Religion Coordinator of St. Genevieve Schools, along with 4-H officers Vice President Matthew Gary, Reporter Sadie Sandford, Program Leader Ryann Crovetto, and Secretary Sidney Sanford came by to express thanks for vocations and confirm their support of our seminarians.

For many years now the students at St. Genevieve Catholic School have participated in a letter writing campaign to the Lafayette Diocese seminarians. The seminarians have always enjoyed and looked forward to these letters.

The Office of Vocations and Seminarians thanks Mrs. Broussard and all the St. Gen students for the gifts and for the wonderful letters. Happy Catholic Schools Week to St. Genevieve Schools and all the Lafayette Diocese Catholic schools!
